The Southern New Mexico Project is a community-centered nonprofit dedicated to strengthening lives, amplifying voices, and expanding opportunity across Southern New Mexico.

We believe that lasting change starts locally. Our work is grounded in the people, cultures, and landscapes of Southern New Mexico—and driven by the idea that every community deserves access to resources, representation, and a fair chance to thrive.

Through collaboration, education, and direct action, we partner with residents, grassroots leaders, and local organizations to address systemic challenges and build practical, people-powered solutions. Whether we are supporting community initiatives, advocating for equity, or creating pathways to opportunity, our approach is guided by respect, transparency, and impact.
